Write to the editorial desk

This page explains what the desk can act on, what it cannot answer, and how a correction is handled when one reaches the address below.

What the desk does

The desk behind Platform Facts PK reads a small set of public sources and republishes one measurement: rows that are alerts the SECP published. The sources are named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk reads those sources on a fixed schedule and records the date and the hour each figure was read. That hour is republished next to the figure so a reader can return to the same source and see the same row.

A reader who wants to know how a figure was taken should write to the address on this page. The desk answers questions about the measurement itself: which source was used, when it was read, and why a row is shown the way it is. The same desk owns every correction. There is no separate research team and no external reviewer; the editorial desk is the single point of responsibility for the figures on this site.

What is worth writing about

The address exists for a reader who has seen a figure that looks wrong. A figure can look wrong because the source has moved or closed, because a row was copied with an error, or because the SECP has since changed the page. A reader can also write to ask how the measurement is taken: which source was used, what time it was read, and what a blank cell means. Those questions are within the desk's work.

A correction is the clearest case. If a reader writes that a figure is wrong, the desk checks the named source again. If the figure does not match the source, the desk corrects it and dates the correction. If the source itself has changed, the desk notes that the row was read from an earlier version. A reader does not need to prove the error; the desk will check the source, and the correction will say what was changed and when.

What the desk cannot answer

This desk is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. It cannot answer a question about a reader's own trading account, a deposit that has not arrived, a withdrawal that is delayed, or a platform that has closed. Those questions belong to the broker or platform the reader used, and this desk has no access to any reader's account or payment records. The desk cannot see a reader's bank, wallet or card transactions.

The desk also cannot give investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. Nothing on this site says what a reader should buy, sell or hold. A reader who asks whether to use a particular platform, whether to deposit rupees, or whether to withdraw will not receive an answer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. The desk will not answer a request for a tip, a signal or a prediction.

How the site is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader follows that link and opens an account at the broker, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the only affiliate relationship the site has, and it is stated plainly on the page about the publisher and on the page about terms. No other company pays this site.

The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Following the link leaves this site. This desk does not handle the broker's sign-up, does not see the reader's account there, and does not answer questions about the broker's service. A reader who writes about the broker will be directed to the broker's own support. The commission does not change what the desk measures or what it writes.
