What Platform Facts PK collects, and what it cannot see
This page explains what the site holds of its own, what a hosting provider logs as a matter of course, what changes when a reader follows the outbound link, and how to write about a figure that may be wrong.
The site collects nothing of its own
Platform Facts PK has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. A reader cannot register, cannot subscribe and cannot leave a message on the site itself. The pages set no cookie of their own and run no analytics script. Nothing is stored in the reader's browser by this publication. A reader can open every page, read every table and leave without the site knowing who they were or that they came back.
Because there is no account system, there is nothing to reset, nothing to unsubscribe from and nothing to delete. The only way a reader's visit becomes known to the publisher is if the reader writes to the contact address and says something. Otherwise the visit is simply a request for a page, served and forgotten. This is not a promise; it is a description of what the code does and does not do.
What the hosting provider logs, as any web host does
The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. These logs record that a page was requested, from which IP address, at what time, and which page was sent back. The publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of those logs. The logs are not used to build profiles, to track readers across the web or to contact anyone.
A reader should understand that this logging is not unique to Platform Facts PK. Every website is served by some computer, and that computer makes a note of the request. The publisher does not control the hosting provider's logs, does not sell them and does not combine them with anything else. If a reader wants to know more, they can ask their own internet provider what it logs in the same way.
Following the outbound link to the broker changes the operator
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. When a reader clicks that link and leaves this site, they are on a different operator's website. That operator has its own terms, its own privacy policy and its own way of handling data. Nothing that this site does not collect can be collected by the broker through this site, because the broker's pages are not these pages.
A reader should read the broker's own privacy policy before opening an account. The broker may set its own cookies, ask for identification documents and keep its own records. Platform Facts PK does not see any of that information. The affiliate link only tells the broker that a reader arrived from this site; it does not tell this site who the reader is or what they do after they leave.
How to write about data questions
Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. That address is editor@platformfactspk.pages.dev. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. If a reader believes a number, a date or a source link is wrong, they should write and say which figure, which page and what the correct value should be.
The desk cannot answer questions about a reader's own account, cannot give advice and cannot act as a broker. It can check a figure against its source and, if the source says something different, change the figure and note the date of the change. The desk reads the sources itself, on a set schedule, and answers correction messages as they arrive.
